How to Use TCMFlash

A guide to getting the most out of our platform.

1. Generate Flashcards
Creating study material is the first step. We offer several powerful ways to do this.
  • From a Topic

The easiest way to start. Go to the Generate page, enter any TCM topic (e.g., "Liver Qi Stagnation"), and let the AI create a set of flashcards for you.

  • Generate from Text

Have your own notes? Paste them into the "Generate from Text" page. The AI will read your notes, identify key TCM concepts, and generate relevant flashcards based on the context you provided.

  • Bulk Import

If you have existing study sets in a spreadsheet, you can use the "Bulk Import" feature. Simply copy and paste your data (with questions and answers separated by a tab or comma) to create a full deck instantly.

2. Study & Review
Once you have your sets, it's time to learn.
  • Traditional Flashcard Study

Navigate to My Sets and click "Study" on any deck. Flip through cards and mark whether you knew the answer. Cards marked incorrect will be added to a special "Incorrect Cards" review queue.

  • AI Review

For a tougher challenge, go to the AI Review page. The AI will convert your flashcards into multiple-choice quizzes, complete with distractors and detailed, case-based explanations to deepen your understanding.

  • Focused Review

The Incorrect Cards page automatically collects all cards you've struggled with across all your sets, allowing you to focus your study efforts where they're needed most.

3. Community Features
Learn with the community.
  • Shared Library

Browse the Shared Library to find study sets created by other users and admins. You can preview any deck and import it into your own "My Sets" with a single click.

  • Share Your Knowledge

In your "My Sets" list, you can click the Share icon on any of your decks to submit it to the Shared Library. An admin will review it before publishing.

  • Courses & Lectures

Discover upcoming online or in-person courses from the community in the Lectures section. You can also share any courses you know about for others to see.
